RoutineLab: Protocol Tracker

Last updated: 23 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and BuildQuo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16634044), registered address 11 Turners Avenue, Tenterden, Kent, TN30 6QB. By downloading or using RoutineLab, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. Not medical advice

RoutineLab is a general wellness and habit-tracking app. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and it does not provide medical advice.

Nothing in the app — including protocol content, the Advisor's responses, your adherence scores, or any figure derived from Apple Health — is a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Always speak to a doctor or other qualified professional before making changes to your sleep, diet, exercise, or any other aspect of your health, and particularly if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or are experiencing symptoms that concern you.

Do not disregard, avoid or delay obtaining medical advice because of anything you read in this app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

The protocols in RoutineLab describe general wellness practices. They are not personalised to your circumstances and may not be appropriate for you.

2. The Advisor feature

The Advisor generates responses using an artificial intelligence language model provided by OpenAI.

You should understand that:

  • Its responses are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a person
  • It can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading
  • It has no knowledge of your medical history, conditions, or medication
  • It is not a clinician, a coach, a therapist, or a substitute for any of them

Treat its suggestions as general information to consider, not instructions to follow. Apply your own judgement and consult a professional before acting on anything that could affect your health.

The Advisor requires your explicit consent before any data is sent. What is sent, and to whom, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of any Advisor response. Usage limits apply, and we may change or withdraw the feature at any time.

3. Apple Health data

RoutineLab can read data from Apple Health with your permission, in order to confirm whether you completed your protocol actions. Accuracy depends entirely on your device and on the data Apple Health holds. Readings can be missing, delayed or incorrect for reasons outside our control, and an action may be marked incomplete as a result. Your adherence score is a record of what the app could detect or what you confirmed, not a measure of your health.

How this data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy. In summary: it is read-only, it stays on your device, and it is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

4. Subscriptions

RoutineLab is offered on a paid subscription. Current pricing is shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by country.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account on confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us. We cannot issue refunds directly. To request one, use Apple's "Report a Problem" process.

We may change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified in accordance with Apple's requirements and may cancel before any change takes effect.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to use RoutineLab only for its intended purpose and lawfully. You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source of the app
  • Attempt to access, disrupt, or overload our servers, or circumvent usage limits
  • Use the Advisor to generate unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive content
  • Use the app in any way that infringes the rights of others

We may suspend access if these terms are breached.

6. Your data

RoutineLab stores your data on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, in your own private iCloud database. We do not hold it and cannot restore it. Deleting the app, using "Delete all data", losing the device, or restoring it without a backup will permanently remove your history.

7. Availability

We aim to keep RoutineLab working but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features, including the Advisor, may be changed, suspended or removed. The app depends on services outside our control, including Apple's platform and third-party infrastructure.

8. Intellectual property

RoutineLab, its design, content and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own, in accordance with Apple's App Store terms. Your own data remains yours.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that: RoutineLab is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or any loss arising from your reliance on the app, on the Advisor's output, or on any health-related figure the app displays.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in that period.

Nothing here affects the statutory rights of consumers.

10. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for RoutineLab or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and is not liable for any claim relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

11. Termination

You may stop using RoutineLab at any time by deleting it. Cancel any active subscription separately through your Apple ID settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. We may terminate your access if you materially breach these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change. Material changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use RoutineLab after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident elsewhere retain any right to bring proceedings in their local courts.
